Got Videos? We Want You!
We’re working on an amazing new way to get the word out to everyone about Baby Signing Time, and we want to feature real stories from real families, like YOURS!
IF YOU HAVE A STORY TO SHARE AND WANT TO BE FILMED, READ ON!
We have selected three geographic locations to film families and toddlers that have amazing stories! We’ve selected:
- Southern California – L.A. Area
- Utah – Salt Lake City Area
- Texas – Houston Area
Requirements
- Email babyvideos@signingtime.com with the following information.
- In the SUBJECT line, type your name, city, and state
- In the BODY of the email, include the following:
- Your name, city, state, telephone number, and email address
- Your child’s (or children’s) name(s) and age(s)
- How long your family has been using Baby Signing Time programs
- The approximate number of words your 0-3-year-old signs
- Tell us if you have video footage of your 0-3-year-old signing. If so, tell us a bit about what you have recorded.
- Share with us your experience with Baby Signing Time
- Attach a family picture so we can put a face with your story.
- You have an amazing story and passion about Baby Signing Time.
- Are able to travel to one of the three locations listed above.
- You have video of your toddler signing or are willing to have us capture video of your toddler. (If they are older now and you don’t have video within the age limits, then it isn’t as useful. We need video of toddlers that are signing!)
We’re moving quickly – so if you have a great story you want to share, do it now!
The most satisfying part of what we do, is hearing how Signing Time programs have impacted your family. We love learning how your child is communicating and growing! Each family’s story is unique. Please share with us your Baby Signing Time success stories—the touching ones, the funny ones, the surprising results and the everyday victories.
It is especially helpful if you have video of your little one signing while between the ages of 0-3. If you don’t have video footage, and your child is 3 or younger, start filming now!

How to submit your story
To submit your story:
- Email to babyvideos@signingtime.com
- In the SUBJECT line, type your name, city, and state

hello!!! this is very exciting and me and my family would looooove to be a part of this!! i have two questions do we have to live in the selected areas and two is if we are a signing time instructor are we eligibale for this?

You do not need to live in those areas but would have to be willing to travel to those areas for filming.
Secondly you are more then welcome as an instructor to submit your stories! Some of our best fans and stories come from our core of dedicated instructors!
Is there a deadline for this?
I know I have video of my son (autism) signing under the age of 3, but, I might have his twin sis signing some too. Specific signs you are looking for?
Oh, we would love to be in the videos, as Signing Time is our FAVORITE method for learning words AND we got our school district to purchase ST too.
We also live in HOUSTON!

We are not looking for specific signs at this time. More importantly we want to hear your passion, see the difference Baby Signing Time has made in your life and your child’s life. Having video of your baby is key so we can show people the difference that it makes for you! You know… a video is worth more than a thousand words… or is that a picture?

Sounds like a Grandma may get an extra visit this year! I’m sure she won’t complain!
I have a question too! If we send in a video and our story and get selected, what would the “interview” entail? The reason I ask is because my 19 month old knows a lot of signs but can be stubborn about when she chooses to use them, especially around strangers. So it’s hard to say if she would cooperate perfectly well if you wanted to do a “new” video of her signing.

We are really interested in hearing your story about the impact of Baby Signing Time with your kids. We will want video of your child signing, whether we capture it there or if you have home video that is good.
Don’t worry about stubborn kids… We can work magic in many cases !
Just curious if you guys thought of starting a partner programs (like Discovery Toys, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef)? It would seem like this would be a good way to help get the word out on these great products and let some of the advocates make a little income.
I have submitted a video and pics. Will I get a response back even if we are not asked to participate?
I went ahead and submitted our family’s information. Should I expect a response email to know it is being reviewed? I have been video taping my 3 year old signing as much as I can and hoping my 1 year old will start signing soon. The boys’ Grandmother in Houston is looking forward to our visit. And if we’re needed in Salt Lake instead, it’s much closer to where we actually live!

We are still in the process of reviewing and selecting video and people. If you are selected you will receive a call or email for more details. Due to the large number of submissions I’m not sure if we’ll be able to respond if you are not selected. Do know that we think all of you are amazing and that we appreciate the amazing stories that you are sharing with us!

So I turned in our family’s information the day after this was posted. My son is 3, super cute, signs all sorts of signs and could travel to Houston or Salt Lake, but we haven’t heard from anyone. This leads me to believe that my son was not selected. Even sending out a form letter informing us that all available slots have been taken would be nice.
