Walk in Sign Language
Learn how to sign walk. What will you discover on a walk?
1. Bring both hands up in front of you, palms down.
2. Alternate the arms back and forth in a small swinging motion.
3. This sign looks like your hands represent your feet, just walking along. Use this visual to help you remember the sign.
Teaching Tips:
- Games for Kindergarten children that have them up moving their bodies are a great way to get the wiggles out and teach them body awareness. Practice walking in different ways. (Fast, slow, silly, like a duck, like a baby, etc.)
