When is the Buddy Walk in VA?

I was just wondering when the buddy walk is in VA and where I can get more information about that and if ST! will be there for sure?

10/07/06 : VA Beach, VA -- Group: Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads
10/14/06 : Fairfax, VA (They have a Rainforest Cafe right by here! :D ) -- Group: The Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia


I'm assuming that if ST! is going to be at one of these events, it will be Fairfax, due to location being No. VA and right by D.C.

Their purpose is to promote awareness of Down Syndrome and to raise money for research and activities for children and adults with DS :) They are really fun events, and depending on the size of the city you are attending one in, they can be very large :) At ours, besides the walk, there are carnival type games, entertainment, and raffles. We always have a great time.

So - if you're in the area - go and have a great time :)

So from my understanding last night, Fairfax is where ST! is going to be for the Buddy Walk. According to the website, there are a multitude of activities planned. I'm actually very excited to be going as I love Fairfax, VA and this is for such a great cause.
