Chico/Redding/Yuba City, CA area??

Hi all.

Wondering if there is a ST/ASL playgroup already in Northern CA, in Chico, Redding, Yuba City yet? Would LOVE to attend some playgroups with Jayme. Willing to help organize one if there isn't one already!!

We are in Paradise which is about an hour 1/2 North of us. Rocklin/Roseville is about the same, only South. I would love to get together when you are visiting this summer!

I recently started a Signing Playgroup in Seattle and just wanted to clue you in to something that I found that might help you. There is a website called meetup.com that allows you to organize a playgroup and then get the word out online. There may even be moms in your area that are already looking for a group! Check out the post I did earlier... I attached it for you to look at. It also has a link to the signing group site.

I live in the Seattle area and started a playgroup in my area. I was just on my site and noticed that there are 492 people who have logged on to Meetup.com and are looking for people who have signing playgroups. I used Meetup to help get the word out for my playgroup and have had several new members from my site! My meetup signing group is the second largest baby signing group in North America!!! (Ok so there are only 8 in North America but I'm still proud )

This page in particular tells where everyone who is looking for a signing group is from and how many there are in each area! It could really help someone who is just starting a group.

...I don't know where you are exactly, but I do know several folks in the Roseville/Rocklin/Antelope area that may be interested.
