How do you sign breast feed or nurse?

For the purpose of signing to my own child, I just used the sign for "breast". I did not want to use "milk" until he was drinking cow's milk. Or as it turned out, soy milk.
I used "mama" and "milk," starting at about eight months, but that was too complicated, and he learned milk for cow's milk at about 13 months. He just started using milk to ask for mama milk about two months later. Mostly he just got a certain whimper, and I knew he wanted mama milk, so I would nurse him.
I like the idea of using the sign for breast, but I didn't know what it was and never thought to look it up.
Oh, well, if we have another, I'll use it then . . .
Thanks!

We use Milk too - when switched over to cow milk we used cup milk until nursing was out of her head.

We've always just used MILK for any kind of milk (breast, cow's, or soy). Actually, for breastmilk, my son always signed and said MILK-MILK, which is different than just one MILK for other types from a cup.

Many people seem to just use milk but you can sign milk near the breast for nursing and milk out in frount of you for milk in a cup or bottle.
If you want a different sign for nursing... Make the sign for no and keep your hand in the closed no position then flip your hand so it is palm side up. Now put that hand below your breast and move the hand down toward baby.

That makes sense - like you're putting the breast to baby's mouth?
