Hi, there,
I posted earlier that my 21 month old twins with speech delays weren't catching on to signing (having seen simple signing since coming home from the NICU).
Well, since getting ST, Brendan (who said fewer words than Greg) has been trying to say many more words. Especially "cracker", which he now says loud and almost clearly!
They both love ST Vol. 1-3, especially the songs.
Also, when we were watching Everyday Signs, Brendan suddenly said "Uh-oh", which he has never said. Seconds later, the boy in the video dropped his cookie, and a child's voice said, "Uh-oh". I was so surprised!
I'm feeling much more hopeful about their language lately, and am trying to remember to use signs all the time, because I think they understand a lot more than they'll let on.
Thanks to Rachel and everyone here!
Alice
