We're Cowboys fans. I bleed blue and silver. OK, not quite but pretty close. I was born in the D/FW area and lived here most my life. Even through the REALLY bad years I loved 'da 'Boys! And yes we saw Emmitt win the trophy. My husband and I voted every week- even if we didn't see the show. :rolleyes:

I was never a football fan in my life until I met my husband 11½ yrs ago. He took the time to explain it to me, answered my silly little questions. He moved here from the Longview, TX area (he worked all over TX though), and brought his love of the 'boys with him.
I voted the maximum times I could for Emmitt (what a magnificent smile he has!) between my cell phone and landline. I was playing dueling phones :p
So now we're at the point (ok, so we've been at this point for years now) that when the 'boys are having an off game and everything looks dire, he's ready to turn the channel and I have to make him stick with it for those turnarounds they so often work magic with! He says being a Cowboys fan is like being a Boston Red Sox fan... they put you through the wringer during their seasons, keep you on the edge of your seat, chewing your nails, make your heart race, and win or lose, keep you coming back for more!!!! :D
And yes, I admit we are Cowboys fans in the midst of the Patriots hoard, lol.
