HOw often is the chat used outside of the scheduled times? I have been checking in periodically but have never seen anyone in the room?

I've check the chat romm also at odd times usually if i've had a bad day either at work or with my daughter and want someone outside the family and unbiased to lean on.

My son who is almost 6 years old can finally communicate with me and my husband. He's autistic with speech delay among developmental delays. For years KOTM tried to teach him ASL but he would refuse then by chance my daughters EIC provider brought a dvd over for us to watch and my son loved it. Everytime KOTM comes over now it's a ritual that we play signing times and watch it on channel 9 as well. I sometimes just cry because my son can finally talk to me without having a meltdown because he's not getting the point across. You have been a wonderful miracle in our lives. I can't wait until I can get the full collection for myself.

I know exactly what you feel when you want to cry! It is tears of joy - I have a 22 month old Candace - who was diagnosed with downs and at 16 months she finally showed an interest with learning to express her needs. Believe it or not - I am starting only in the morning when she gets out of bed to go to the bathroom and she is getting there with trying to unclasp the stickies on her diaper!
We ) my husband and I) sign Baby Signing Time without saying it and Candace lights up and looks right at the TV ready to watch with full intent for 45 minutes or more!

Theres singing time and dancing time and laughing time and playing time and not it is our almost favorite time Chatting Time!!! Come and chat. The extra chat was secedualed for "now" at 8:30 eastern time. I am lonely come and chat. :D
