Just an emphatic SIT? It's getting hard to dress the wiggle worm, and she pays a lot more attention to signing than speech.

When Daniel is wiggling during dressing or diaper change, I use "stop".

With Alexandria, who started getting in the habit of crawling away during diaper changes, I started playing wiggle/still. Before I change her diaper, I lay her down and say "Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" as I wiggle her whole body (to get her wiggles out), and then I say "Still" as I hold her still. Then if she starts crawling away I tell her to be still, while holding her down with one hand while my other hand is still changing her diaper. This has worked well for us.
I started this when I realized that usually I tell Alexandria what she is doing rather than what I want her to do. For example, I tell her "Good walking." when she is walking. If I tell her to be still when she is not being still how is she supposed to learn what it means to be still? I have also been acting out the words to the BST song "I Can Keep It Still." So hopefully she is learning the difference between bouncing, rocking, and keeping still.
