Hi-
Wouldn't it be great if Rachel or someone could post the chords to the ST songs so we parents can look like real heroes to our kids and play the songs for them?
I'm really bad at figuring them out. Has anyone else given it a try?

Last I heard, there was no plans to publish the ST! sheet music (another common request) but we keep asking!

Can't someone just figure out the chords for me and post them?
:)

That would take someone far more talented than I, I am afraid!

I'm five years late here, I know, but googling for "signing time chords" returns this thread as the first hit, so seems like this might be the best place to respond!
For the signing time theme, the chords are:
E C#m A B
Each chord spans two beats.
Now, if you're new to guitar like I am, the barre chords are still tricky to play. So, since this is just a "I vi IV V" progression, I've found it much easier to play as:
G Em C D
Hope that helps someone! As I can I'll try to post chords for some of the other songs, too.

The chords for the silly pizza song are, as near as I can tell, these:
(F) when I'm feeling (C) hungry, and I don't feel like (D) stopping, I (G) think of silly pizzas, with (G7) all my favorite (C) toppings
(shouted) Apples!
(The chord changes come fast and furious for the next part)
(F) I like (C) apples (F) on my (C) pizza, I like apple (G) pizza (C) please!
(F) put the (C) apples (F) on the (C) pizza (F) don't for- (C) -get the (F) ex- (G) -tra (C) cheese!
Whew! I've got chords for two other songs, too, I'll post them tonight.

The chords for "Show Me a Sign" are refreshingly easy:
D A G A
Just that, repeated for the entire song. Each chord lasts two beats. The hardest part for me is remembering the rhythm of the lyrics, since it is sung in almost a free-form style!

The chords for proud to be me includeone barre chord (F#m), but are otherwise pretty straightforward.
The intro: A D E A
The chorus: A - E F#m / A D E A
The bridge: F#m E D A E / F#m E D E
I don't have the lyrics handy, sorry :( however, if you have any questions about how the chords match the lyrics, let me know and I'll try to clarify.

Just transcribed "In a House" this morning. It uses some really pretty minor seventh chords, so it is fortunate I just learned how to do those on the guitar in the last couple of weeks! Here's what I've got:
verses:
In a (C) house, in a home, there are (F) mothers and (C) fathers,
(F) sisters and (C) brothers, and there's (F) me, (G) me, (C) me
chorus:
(C) I have a family full of (G) people who love me,
(F) people who (C) love me, (F) they take care (G) of me
(C) I know my family is un- (G) -like any other,
(F) Your (Am7) family's made for (Dm7) you,
and mine is (F) made (G) for (C) me.
bridge:
(Am7) My puppy is nicer to (Cmaj7) me than my sister,
my (Dm7) goldfish is quiet, my (Am7) kittens are cleaner,
I (Fmaj7) think there's a good chance that (Em7) she'll be my
(G) best friend some- (Dm7) -day;
let's wait and (F) see, (G) see, (C) see.
Please let me know if you have any corrections--the bridge especially was tricky for me to transcribe with only my fledgling guitar skills to guide me!
