Hi, Rachel! Hi, Alex & Leah!
Welcome back from your adventure in Ghana, Africa. We're sure you had so much fun. My grandpa told me how far away Ghana is...and you went all the way there to help the deaf children! Can't wait to hear about it in your blog.
Meanwhile, I'm still very busy right now as I am finishing my proposal. I didn't make it to the National Consultation on Philippine Education last January 31-February 1 since they were already so busy preparing for the event at the Manila Hotel and the program was already filled up. But I was able to talk to Dr. Tessie Ignacio, one of the undersecretaries of Dr. Mona Valisno, Presidential Assistant for Education, and she told me to submit my proposal to Dr. Valisno herself. They will just call me up within this month for any feedback and to set an appointment with Dr. Valisno so I can present my proposal to incorporate ASL in the preschool and daycare curriculum here in the Philippines. Wow!!!
With that, I'll be including the formal launch of Signing Time here in our country with the whole Signing Team to tour the schools here by June, this year, when classes start. Double WOW!!! That would be so exciting!
I may not have much time to chat with you guys on Wednesdays...but no doubt, Signing Time is here in my heart and always will be. God bless Signing Time! God bless Lucy, most of all!
