Okay, so yeah, I'm new to kid TV. I allowed Daytona to watch Blue's Clues today only because I saw the host guy sign "You missed" for some dog trying to make a goal. Daytona turned to me and asked if he was deaf same mommy. I told her I didn't think so, so I googled him. No, he's not deaf. But are there other kid's shows that have signing in them? He doesn't sign much but the words I noticed today were MISS, THREE, and SMART, so I had to ask here in hopes of someone here knowing the answer.

Sincerely,
ReBecca

Sesame Street has some signing in it, although not nearly enough (I'd love to see them have a ASL word of the day, just like they have a Spanish word of the day), and Blues Clues sometimes does. In addition, I know there's been a signing episode of Arthur.

What I'd love to see is sign captioned kid tv-Alli and I were watching Sesame Street in the hotel this past weekend, and I noticed just how good so many of the songs were for signing. I know they close caption, but for kids who are SS age, captioning really doesn't help. Besides, the more kids who know even some ASL, the better.
