Hi everyone :) I'm from the yahoo board but haven't posted here yet. I'm Deann, SAHM to Madison (2.5 years, the "fancy pants" kid in BST) and Jaxon, 5.5 months. We live in Ogden, UT.
We've been doing a few signs with DS since he was born, and if there is ever a day I just can't seem to get my turn in the shower, i'll put in BST for the kids to watch and DS is entranced! For the past week DS has been watching his hand very closely as he opens and closes his fist. i've thought he was attempting to sign, but wasnt positive yet. he's nak'ing right now, just popped off with the biggest grin on his face, looked at me and signed MILK. then latched back on and continued to sign. aaahhhh, he's so sweet and now i'm so proud! :)

and he's so little - that is GREAT!!! Whooo hooo :) It makes me wish I could have more babies so I could sign to them :) I didn't sign to any of my typical babies (didn't know I could - go figure) so I'd love to see how quickly they catch on :) I'll just have to wait for grandkids, I guess! WTG!!!!

Yea! That is so cute! I've been signing to my baby (now 10 1/2 months) since birth and only in the last 3 weeks has she been signing back. It's been awesome and I'm so excited. How cool for you to have it be so early!!!

That is so great!! You must be so excited!!! I started signing to my youngest at birth and she started signing MILK back at 6 months (and 4 days). Now at one year (tomorrow is her birthday!!!), she has about 15 signs and is communicating so well!! I LOVE SIGNING!!! If I was fancy enough and had enough time to figure it out, I'd post a picture of my two little ones on here. But, alas, lesson plans are calling my name...
