My wife and I do not have a need to use ASL per se, but we love ST and has been an invaluable asset with all of our kids. The problem now is that our oldest daughter is starting to ask us "what is the sign for .. " which usually is for stuff that we have no ideal what the sign is. Anything that is not presented in the ST videos puts us at a disadvantage.
So today she asked what is the sign for poo. My wife replied that she did not know and my daughter thought for a moment and said, "Mommy, you sign brown, and then diper."
:D
Cognitive development is so very cool to watch and experience.
