Yahoo chat

Hello! I thought I'd try to lurk around in the old Yahoo! chat room for a bit tonight, but I'm having a heck of a time. Nothing pops up . . . no java applet, etc. So I re-downloaded Java, but still nothing. I was hoping somebody else might have solved the same problem and that I might still get to see what the chat was like before it "goes gently into that good night."

Thanks in advance for any advice . . . if it's too late for tonight, maybe I can figure what's wrong before next time . . .
