I am a sign language interpreter, am currently a teacher and a baby signs instructor. I was taught that both the fruit and the color orange is signed in front of the mouth with the same hand motion as milk. A parent in my baby signs class asked if there was two different signs for the fruit and the color. I said no because I wasn't taught any other way. She told me on www.aslpro.com they have two different signs. For the color orange it is signed in front of the mouth with the same hand shape and motion as spaghetti. Very strange! I have never seen anything like it. Is this apart of regional differences in signs or is this the true sign for the color orange? Please help because I don't want to be teaching the wrong signs to my very-eager-to-learn parents. Thanks so much!!!

They're the same sign.
I personally don't use ASL Pro because their signs are confusing and contradict every other place I check 50% of the time.

I have never seen that sign before in my life, and certainly not for the color orange. Bizarre.

You might want to write them - they might have the sign in the wrong place. We found that on Signing Savvy (which we love) they had men's bathing suit and womans bathing suit mixed up, we wrote them and they switched them...
