I am glad you are enjoying The Zoo Train. When we decided that the next 3 DVD's would be "Animal" themed, I was a little worried... Could I really write 12 interesting and different animal songs?
When we finally finished animals and moved on, then I was really worried! Would I now be able to write fun and interesting songs that had nothing to do with animals?
What's MY favorite song from the new Signing Time shows (7-9)? Hmmmm.... I think it would have to be "Caterpillar Dreams" in #8. It makes me think of Lucy and Leah and how I have no idea of the things they will accomplish and achieve.
When you really think about it, it IS incredible that a caterpillar grows wings and becomes a butterfly.... do you think the caterpillar knows what is going to happen? Would he even believe you if you told him? ;)

What a great song! I love the funky, 70s stuff - reminds me a little of schoolhouse rock - anyone else remember those?

Remember those? I have the complete DVD set! Imani doesn't care for them. They are not, after all, ST. But someday, I know she is going to love them. It is funny to watch them though, the animation is so archaic now, but it is SO old school, I am hoping it will be classic-interesting to my modern daughter.

LOL I have a 6-CD set, but hadn't found the DVDs! Where did you buy them? I totally need them for my 2nd grader!

Disney now owns the licence to Schoolhouse Rock. There was a 2 DVD set with all the SHR videos a few years back through them-I got a major discount since I was teaching full-time at the time, then had nowhere to play them at school.
There are also computer CDs with the videos for each of the four major subjects and games to go with them. I have these, too, and my school students have loved them. Creative Wonders makes them.
