I have a Deaf playgroup that will start back up in January. We meet every Friday at 10:00am at the Deaf Center in Taylorsville (It is about 5500 S. and just off Redwood, behind Walmart and Iceberg). I would love to have any signers come!

We meet in the gym. I would love for anyone who actively signs with their child to come. Everyone should bring enough toys for their children plus one. Children up to age 4 or so are welcome.

we will be moving to Toole(sp?) county as soon as our house sells and I would love to talk/sign with people who sign. I'm really rusty!! and have two boys 4 and 2. the 4yo knows sign but won't use it much. I don't think he sees the need and if he could meet people who are Deaf he might be able to understand all that I have been trying to explain to him. and my 2yo loves to sign:) JaLyn:)

I have two boys, 23 mths and 8 mths, My 23 mth is learning sign language and I would be interested in the playgroup. My boys are not deaf but I think it would be a good opportunity for m 23 mth to use his sign language from what he has learned from the DVD's. Would it be ok if my kids joined your playgroup? Also, are there any classes in the Salt Lake Valley I could get my kids into to learn sign language?

Everyone who has children who actively sign are invited. I want my DD to see that there are lots of kids who sign just like her. I want the kids to learn from the more advanced and help the struggling!

I have 2 year old twin daughters that have aquired a new best friend that is deaf. She signs, and I would love for my girls to learn. Any ideas on classes for us? And can we come to the playgroup, or do we need to be more advanced? aurbey ailill_7@yahoo.com :) :) :)

Awesome! I'm so excited for something like this! I don't know that we will make it this week as my daughter has been sick. I would feel awful if she got someone else sick! We're going to the doc today though so if I hear that she's not contagious then we'll be there! Thanks so much for the invite!
