the opening one :) It made my day, and was soooo cute! He was singing and signing it in his car seat. It's the first time that he's sang it all the way through with the CD. It warmed my heart :)

Also - he goes to two different speech therapists (for the moment) and both were doing assessments during the last week, and every time he had to tell them what a picture was, if he knew the sign, he would sign it. There was a picture of a boy, and he was signing boy at the boys head :) His therapist was so confused LOL He is doing so many cute things, and really starting to put more things together. They tested him on colors and numbers, and he signed them all. I credit Rachel and SigningTime with helping him learn these things so fast - THANK YOU :)

It was our local Down Syndrome group Christmas party :) Brady thought Santa was pretty cool - he said Santa and Ho Ho Ho :) He even signed car (with a little prompting LOL) when Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas. Thanks for the compliment.

It's so fun to see him going through such a spurt. Plus - at the Christmas party I ran into his old kindermusik/kindervillage teacher, and she asked if he knew any signs. She was blown away when I told her he knew over 200 signs :) She always thought Brady was very delayed and I don't think she expected him to be as smart as he is ;) I guess it just goes to show that you should NEVER underestimate any child :)

Thanks for your sweet words and for sharing our joy!

I remember reading that DS kids are not necessarily mentally delayed, but that since most people think that they are not much is ever expected of them. If a teacher assumes that a child is incapapble of learning something, she might not even try. You two just keep blowing people away!
