Paula's hearing loss was diagnosed on September 9. It is almost three months later and I just counted up her signing vocabulary: 61 signs!

Okay, this does include the five signs she already knew (eat, drink, hurt, potty, milk), but WOW! She's learned so much in such a short time. I'm so proud of my little hug-monkey!

I just want to say again that Signing Time! has helped us so much. ST! got her more interested in signing, taught her a whole lot of new signs and also guided me as I signed with her. All that and we still only have Vols. 1-3! So THANK YOU, Rachel, Leah, Alex and everyone else who has made ST! possible. You have touched our lives.

P.S. The complete list of Paula's signs is on my blog, www.julietmartinez.com

That's sooo awesome! Keep it up Paula :) Isn't it sooo fun to watch her sign and be able to communicate? I will be forever grateful to Rachel and ST! for making sign so easy and fun for our whole family to learn. I know we wouldn't have been quite as motivated to learn if ST! hadn't been so addicting :) It's been such a positive thing in our family, as I'm sure it is in yours :) Doing the happy dance for Paula!

That's awesome!
I know that William would not have the vocabulary or the interest if it were not for Signing Time.

Doing the happy dance here for Paula too!
