Daniel and I were at the library today and checked out some DVD's. OH MY! They were sooooo annoying! I won't mention the series by name. I couldn't take it any more! I'm so glad I can check these things out from the library to "try before I buy". If they were mine, I'd be melting them right now. We are happily watching our Baby Signing Time DVD now instead (which we own). THANK YOU RACHEL!

It's s true that you and Emilie have one of the best products on the market. I never have any problem sitting down and watching these videos, even though I've already seen them hundreds of times. That is something I can't say that about many baby videos!

The signing time and baby signing videos are the only ones in my children's dvd library that I can stand watching over and over ;) The quality is superb in so many ways. We (even the adults) find ourselves singing all the songs too when we aren't watching the dvd's. Dinner time is the greatest because after we finish eating we all practice our signs. I love the unity the signing time dvd's have brought to our family! Even Papa is learning now!!! :)

I won't tell you how much money I had spent on other videos & books before Signing Time came out. Plus I had borrowed some from our local Early Intervention when William was receiving services. They never held his or my interest.

Nothing comes even close to Signing Time & Baby Signing Time.

Saturday afternoon I was sitting blissfully watching BST over and over, when all of a sudden I realized that I was the only person in the room. My husband had taken the babies with him upstairs. I'm glad that I enjoy the DVDs almost as much as they do. ;)

It's true. Signing Time is a wonderful series to watch even alone. We learned how to sign the theme song without our children watching. It was fun. Also, to challenge ourselves, we will try and sign the songs fully with all the words. That gets a little hard.

I'm not shy about mentioning the name of one we hated! Ooh, wait now I can't remember it! I have blocked it out! Talking Hands, maybe? We watched it after seeing ST! thank goodness or we may have been turned off Signing forever! The people were robotic, the children looked miserable, and the information was not presented in a "fun" way. This is not intended to bash anyone, just my opinion of the video.
