Does your DC prefer one BST over the other?

Corinne LOVES BST! #1, and likes BST! #2. I think it's because there are more concrete concepts in #1 (i.e. animals, food...) and she seems to get lost in the feelings of Please, Thank you, Sorry... but she's young!

Just wondering if there are other preferences out there!

Ryan prefers #1 right now as well. He enjoys watching #2, but I think you are right on the concrete concepts in #1. And maybe he likes that one better because he already knows most of those signs, so he can sign along with it.

Alli loves them both (and will pick either BST over any ST if I let her), but seems to prefer #2-I think because she's really into the WORD socks (dock! Dock!) and train sounds. She signs along more with #1, where she knows the signs better, though.

She's also had a resurgence of interest in ST 1-3 recently, after months of ignoring them, and I think it's because she now knows the signs.

Oh, and BST #2 has HAT-which is Alli's current favorite sign and word. ANYTHING can be a hat-on her head, on Mommy's head, on the teddy bear's head-and all have to be commented on in sign and speech. ('at! 'at!).

Anyka likes #2 better at the moment because her favorite song is "Here I Go!"

Jaina will go through my whole bag that I take to classes and you can see the determination on her face. Once she finds a BST (after discarding the 9 volumes of ST), she signs BABY SIGNING TIME and heads to me with the DVD. I think she probably prefers #2 although I don't usually offer her a choice (the choice is a BST for her and a ST for Jacob, although Jacob has to pick which ST he wants, Jaina's just excited to be allowed to watch BST). Anyway, she loves to sign shoes, socks, hat, during the video and wave bye-bye to Rachel as the train pulls away. She's watched that one more, so I'm sure that's why she signs along with it more, but she loves both of them!!
