Who has children appearing in BST? [Archive] - Signing Time Forums

He is in both volumes 1 and 2. In volume 1 he is in a blue bathrobe playing with boats and signing water. He is the one who signs water by touching his ring finger to his chin instead of his pointer finger. You can also see his bump on his head which was the result of a bed jumping accident.
In volume 2 he is in a yellow shirt signing train and bear and in his blue bathrobe signing brush teeth, playing with boats and washing up with the soap.
We had so much fun in Utah. Thanks Signing Time family for letting us be a part of the event.

My Stryker is in 'more birds' in a blue cable knit sweater. (except he is really signing more drink-he was always so cute signing that cause he was so proper with only his two fingers) and he signs thank you on my lap....and he is in diaper dance twice-he is the one that looks INTO the camera and then he 'walks' all around them room on hands and feet.

It's been fun knowing some of the other kids though-so everyone keep posting which ones are yours. I love watching it and feeling like I know your kids. :)

I was so thrilled to have the chance to be a part of BST, and so glad that Rachel gave Brady a chance to show the abilities of kids w/ds :) I think signing is so important for our kids, and I know soooo many people who just don't do it, because they think it is too hard to learn, or that their child won't speak if they sign, or it just takes too much time to reinforce. I wish I would have known to teach sign to my typical kids - how many tantrums could I have avoided ;)

I love all the home scenes, and your little guy is so cute in his bathrobe :) Brady signs water kind of like that too, although he hold his pinky and thumb together yet - hopefully someday LOL I love seeing all the kids and the things they can do - it is amazing to me how well all these babies and kids under 3 can sign :) I LOVE it....

I just wanted to say hooray for this thread! Noah's not in BST (I'm so envious of all the babies who are in it!) but it's so wonderful to put names to faces. Now I just need to watch BST while viewing this thread :)

My daughter Cocoa is in Volume 1 for about two seconds during the song for hurt. She is wearing an orange shirt and is crying hysterically and looks right into the camera.

My Daughter Emma is in both Vol 1 and 2, along with her mommy and daddy. :) We were pretty excited to see the whole family make it this time. (Emma also had a brief part in ST Vol 6 signing peach!) What a great thing to have when she gets older!! Anyway, in Vol 1, she signs CAT and is the little girl right after the animation, in the pink shirt w/ hearts and pig tails! Her and I are in the "mom has a mom" song, me giving her a hug and signing mom together. In vol 2, she signs car, then we are both in it again, me taking her out of her stroller, putting her in her carseat, then she waves goodbye out the window as the car backs up! lol! She is also in "I wash my hands", toward the end I believe, and her and daddy are in the very last song "special to me!" That was a tear jerker for me!! :o It was such a fun experience and are so thrilled to be apart of it!! She turns 3 in Jan and still signs a lot everyday, not to mention she requests "Rachel" in the car everyday so she can sing along! lol! Its so awesome!

Rachel sent us a rough preview clip of Pets I love since Brady also signs Cat :) so we have seen your cutie pie over and over, even before BST came out :) I love her in the Here I go clip too :)

I have a 48 year old Uncle with Down Syndrome (or Up Syndrome if you ask him!) who came to visit us last week. When he watched BST with my daughter he pointed out your son with such excitement that a "kid like me is a movie star" It really made him happy and me too!

I love it! I always wonder if when Brady grows up he will notice others who share his little bit extra :) How cute of your uncle :) I loved your story on the yahoo group about staring, and how you thought people were staring at YOU because you were adopted :) I thought that really made a strong statement about the innocence of children and I wish everyone would always see Brady as who he is, regardless of him having DS - maybe in a perfect world someday LOL

My daughter Chiara is in vol 2. She is the redhead sitting on a bench (at the Signing Time Camp). She signs hat and wash hands - which was really her sign for cookie at the time, but worked out well for wash hands! My son Drew is in "hats" as well, but you wouldn't know it because his head is down. He's in the "ring-around-the-rosie" part.

Sooo cute - I love to put names with faces (and vice versa!) How fun that you were at Signing Time Camp - I'm sad we weren't able to go last year. Hopefully maybe this year or next year - it looks like you all had a blast!!! I can't wait for the new volumes to come out and see more campers and yahooers :)

As for improvised signs, my hubby thinks that Brady is actually signing frog when he signs cereal, but I'm pretty sure he is signing cereal ;) Sometimes his signs look similar since he doesn't have very good fine motor skills :)

Christie ~ Aww, that is so neat that you were able to see a preview of Brady before the videos came out. He is too cute. I have shown the videos to friends and family and they all ask who Brady is and think he is too cute!! He looks like he is having so much fun signing!

My Keanu is not signing in any of the BSTs, but he is in the hat dance/song.... He's wearing the dark "Russian" type of hat and is wearing a blue shirt with red print shorts... He absolutely loves seeing himself in BST even though it is for a short time....LOL

My daughter Anyka is in the BST! Videos. She is a curly brown headed girl in pink pants and a pink top. It is still possible to mistake her though. She is in the opening signing "Signing Time" but the easiest place to spot her "for sure" is signing "More Birds" in More More More - she is the only one.

My friend's little girl, Alexis is in volume 2. We were at the green screen shoot so she always is at the beginning of each sign she does. She has on a purple dress, has long blonde pigtails, and signed SOCKS, COAT, and BEAR. :)

Yes, but it would be difficult to miss the fact that Stryker is a boy and Anyka is a girl - I meant that Anyka is the only GIRL in more birds - because there are several girls with dark curly hair wearing pink! ;)

I think Anyka is easy to recognize. My son walked in and saw her picture on the post and said, "Hey, she's in Baby Signing Time!!" and was very excited!!

She was remarkably compliant the whole shoot - whatever they asked her to sign, she signed, both on video and stills. That's why she got to be in the shot with the "daddy" - she would sign daddy even though he isn't her daddy at all but a stranger!

how big Jonas has gotten since we last saw him. He looks so much older! Caitlyn tells me "He's my friend" when she sees him on TV. I said you remember Jonas and she replied "Of course MOM! I sat on his cow." She remembered the cow print on the car seat when we rode in your van! Her memory is incredible :D

Our son Jonas is in BST 1 & 2 signing hat, bear, please, eat, and drink. He is blond and wears a bright yellow shirt for eat, drink and please and a blue shirt for hat and bear. He is the first one to sign "eat" and you can see him say "bear" while signing it.
He loves seeing himself on screen. :)

Our little Roseanna has a short little clip signing "shoes" in Vol. 2. We were filmed at Signing Time Camp, but Roseanna would not really sign even though she knew all the signs they wanted. I think she was a little intimidated by the big camera lens in her face. But they did get "shoes," and every time she sees it she says in a loud growly voice, "Roseanna!!!" She's the little girl with the brown hair in the green shirt with the toy in her hand when she signs it.

Madison wears an orange shirt, and the rainbow colored cloth diaper. She is in drink, grandpa, fish, frog, diaper dance song, and finished in BST1. In BST2 she is in bike with daddy, book with mommy, and sorry.
