After reading this forum, this is something that I would definitely be interested in starting in our area (Pennsylvania). My question is, did those of you that started up playgroups know a whole lot of sign language before you started? I know more than what I think probably but wanted to see what your thoughts were. Thanks for helping.

The last playgroup I went to we colored pages from the activities page, played with toys, and watched Baby Signing Time. The signing skill of people involved ranged from beginner to interpreter. I fall somewhere in the middle of the signing spectrum.

Where do you live in PA? I live in Pittsburgh and have a 20 month old girl who loves to do sign language.
