HI,
I am looking for fellow signing enthusiasts in the Charlotte NC area. My son will be three in April. He was diagnosed with a speech delay last year and knows many signs; I lost count about 6 months ago when he knew at least 300. He is talking a lot now and continues to learn and use sign as well, thanks to Signing Time of course! He has been receiving speech therapy through our county's early intervention program and will soon be reevaluated for the preschool services. I am not sure he will qualify, not sure he needs it anymore, and not sure we want to do it even if he does qualify. So I am looking for another way to encourage his speech development as well as his signing ability and to meet people who share our interests.
Thanks,
Suzie
Mom to Silas, almost 3--hearing with a speech delay
(better at signing than computers...I'd post a picture if I could figure out how!)
