You can search the forums for your city, your state or both. For example there are 3 members looking for playgroups in St. Louis - Hopefully you already found eachother:-) I searched St. Louis because I am here for a conference for a couple of days :D

Anyone from St Louis Missouri?
Hi I'm wondering if there is anyone from the St Louis - St Peters Missouri area? I'm teaching my daughter to sign but it would be great to get together with other members to learn more.

I just moved back to St. Louis after having been gone for 21 years. My children LOVE Signing Times, and I just happened upon this forum in looking for playgroups. Both of my children are hearing, but they love to sign. 18 mo and 3 1/2 years old. Anyone up for a playdate in St. Peters/St. Charles area?

Actually, with being so new, I guess I should ask how you would reply to someone wanting a playdate!!! :D

First, you might want to propose a couple of date/time combinations (e.g. weekday, evening or weekend) based on your availability and post here.

Second, some users have included their email address as a part of their profile (look them up under "Member List" in red bar on top, or just click on their user id wherever it shows a link). I also use email because some people only check back on the forums once in a while.

If you're up for some coordinating beyond that, the "sticky" threads (ones at the top of the forum's list of threads) have some good ideas on what to do, how you might advertise, etc.

Doesn't have to be very complex! Just the meet-greet and companionship is great! My kiddo signs her little fingers of for days after a signing encounter. It seems to better reinforce that it is a real-live language, not just something on TV (like dragontales or something).

Have fun with it!!
