List yours-songs to sign by
I was working on my lesson plans for tomorrows classes, and I thought it would be great to put together a list of songs we use to reinforce signing with our student groups or our own children (besides Signing Time)
A few that work well for me (Baby/toddler/preschool) which are pretty familiar:
The bear went over the mountain (also, other animals)
(BEAR, MOUNTAIN, OVER, UNDER, AROUND, THROUGH, BRIDGE, FOREST, RIVER, ROCK)
If you're Happy and you know it (HAPPY, SAD, MAD, SCARED etc)
Hey, Lolly (MOMMY, DADDY, BABY, SILLY, SONG)
Six little ducks (DUCK, BIG, LITTLE,PRETTY)
The wheels on the bus (BUS, MOMMY, DADDY, BABY, CHILDREN, TEACHER, CRY, LAUGH, TALK, PLAY, READ, QUIET, also LIGHTS, DOOR,WHEELS and any other bus part the kids can come up with!)
I like to eat (EAT,APPLES, BANANAS, also any other foods the kids have been working on or can think of that they like to eat-it was in one of these classes that I started signing ALLIGATOR PEAR for avocado)
Diddle, Diddle Dumpling (SON, PLAY, WORK, BED, SOCKS, SHOES)
This is the way (anything you might possibly do during the day)
Three little monkeys (JUMP, MONKEY, BED, MOMMY, PHONE, FINISH, DOCTOR, HELP)
One elephant (ELEPHANT, PLAY, SPIDER, FUN, COME HERE)
There was an old lady (WOMAN, EAT, BUG (or fly), SPIDER, BIRD, CAT, DOG, GOAT, COW, HORSE)
And a cute one I just found this week-Peanut butter (HEAD, SHIRT, PANTS, SOCKS, SHOES, UNDERWEAR, plus PEANUT BUTTER) Found on http://www.kellyskindergarten.com/Po...owerpoints.htm
There are powerpoints there for a lot of cute songs, and I plan to use sign clip art on some of the pages and print these out for my students and their parents.
Please add more-I'm always looking for new resources.

Not sure if this is the type of thing you're looking for, but I found this site a while back to use with my daughter and never got around to it. Some of them are songs, but some of them are rhymes/chants. I think the lady made most of them up herself. They're divided up into themes and seasons. HTH!
From the preschool section:

From the toddler section (Under Toddler Rhymes):

I'm interested too Tanya. I love familiar tunes with altered lyrics!

Amy-that's a great site-i just bookmarked it and then realized i'd bookmarked it a while back!!!
Bridget - i'll sent those songs to you
Theresa-let me know which songs you want and i'll send them to you. I love changing words to songs and now my nearly three yr old does it as well!!! My main problem is that i need to write songs also in Hebrew and i just don't have the grasp of the language to write anything funny (you know like we might write "wiggle waggle" or "fuzzy wuzzy" in english)
