    Default Yogurt, Oatmeal?

    My son lives on these foods and I'm not a proficient fingerspeller.... are there signs for these foods? Thanks!

    As far as I know (on the east coast) there are no signs for those two words so you do have to spell them.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong.

    Yogurt is fingerspelled.
    Oatmeal can be signed as 'hot cereal'.

    William used to sign oatmeal 'spoon' because he ate it with a spoon. It took a little while to get him to sign 'hot cereal' instead.

    I learn something new everyday! Thanks Kei!!! I was thinking I saw the same thing for Oatmeal somewhere else but I've been fingerspelling all this time...phew!
