Looking for signing playmates in colorado for my 4 yr old nonverabl and my 2 yr old very verbal children...we are just starting down this path after 2 yrs of heartache with the school district...doctors ect. My son has just had his tonsils removed after 2 yrs of constant infection and constant ear infections to go with it...

My wife and I are looking to start a play date in colorado springs. We have twin daughters who are both hearing but we are signing to them. We are both hearing as well and learning ASL. We are not looking for anything special just trying to encourage our girls to sign more and to meet more children. Let us know if you are interested and we will work out details.

Where is everyone in CO located? I am SE of Denver. Maybe I could meet at the Castlerock Outlet Mall occassionally, but Colorado Springs is a little far on my tight budget, but I am interested. Both my girls are hearing (7 months and 2.5 yrs). I am just starting to teach the youngest signs and my oldest has been signing since 1 but uses it less than i would like.

I'm in Castle Rock... my daughter signs (18 months), we are hearing. We are attempting to connect with others in the community who use ASL as we wish to retain the use of the language as a second in our home.

We live in Aurora and our little V loves signing time. We have more words that are said and signed than we can count. We stopped counting at 1 yr and were well over 100 words. We stay at home most days but our schedule allows playtime almost anytime.

I have two boys ages 3 and 7 who would be up for some signing fun--they are beginners (though the 7 year old just needs some refresh time) but are up for a challenge!
