Snap Crackle Popping Elbow
I have almost graduated from physical therapy. Note to anyone who breaks a bone and has PT - go to PT in the afternoon after you are warmed up. All of your rotation measurements are better then. When I go to PT first thing in the morning it always looks like I am having a major setback.
So here is the proof: Look at the two thin bones and notice how the top of the one on the left has piece that is chipped out of it and slightly lower? Well that is the break. (For some reason the picture is reversed on youtube)

I know it’s nothing shocking but it really has been painful and a nuisance to say the least. Aaron has been working on the special features for our upcoming DVD’s and I asked him to edit together a little elbow fun for you!
While we were filming our upcoming Signing Time shows my elbow would pop while I was signing. The popping doesn’t always ruin the take, the editors can cut out the audio during the pop IF I am not speaking at the exact moment it happens. We started calling those useable takes with pops, Clean Pops. So, they can use the take if the pop is clean AND if I don’t react to the pop - just keep smiling!

How funny! I can’t wait to see the new Signing Time shows. I know my 3yr old and 18 month old will love them. We’re HUGE fans!
Comments??? Is this new? I’ve been reading for awhile, and having my own blog, I was wishing you had comments! How fun is this? Anyway, I hope your elbow gets better soon. I’m sure it’s as much of an aggravation as it is painful. And I just wanted you to know that we are SO EXCITED about the new videos! Your show is THE ONLY show my 2 year old will sit and watch. You are my babysitter when I need to get a cake or something done! LOL And yes, he knows every.single.sign on every.single.episode. He amazes all the other moms at football and baseball practice! I’m trying to get video of him signing to post on my blog, but every time he sees that I have the camera, he stops signing! He is NOT the ham in the family!
Yep we just got the Comments set up, so you can even go back and say the things you wanted to say about the archived posts! I can’t tell you how many mom’s tell me that the only reason they are able to shower and get dressed each day is because Signing Time gives them a 30 minute window of time!
Yeah! I finally remembered that Jessica said that cox.net won’t accept Signing Time emails! Using a different email worked.
Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to comment, I love reading other peoples’ reactions, too. I am looking forward to more hints on Wednesday night!
I think you should do a special features blooper reel!
We do have “blooper reels” on some of the DVD’s. They are called out-takes. They are Lucy’s favorite things to watch. The re-released Signing Time 1, 2 and 3 have never before seen out-takes of Alex and Leah from way back when, during tihe filming of 1, 2 & 3!
Wow- here I am- all signed up and logged on! How cool is this comment section? I just had to add add to this conversation, as I was just thinking the other day how good it would be if a wholee behind-the-scenes DVD was made. I (and my son, ofcourse!) love the out-takes on the re-released Signing Time 1, 2 & 3 and it would be great to see out-takes from all the other DVDs aswell. It would also be fun to see interview snippets from all the people that worked on the DVDs. It would be cute to hear what Leah and Alex (and Lucy!) have to say about their experience working on Signing Time. Anyone agree?!
