Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us to all of yours. I can’t wait to show these videos to Hallie when she wakes up in the morning; she’s going to love them (just as she loves all things Signing Time related…we have yet to capture her on video but she’s now signing all of the animals, all of the colors, and beginning to sign letters correctly. It’s so cute to see her import sign language into her renditions of Sesame Street songs, too…she’s especially proud of her “C” in “C’ is for Cookie”). Anyway, it’s so great to know that we’re raising a little girl who is turning out to be bilingual because of all of your excellent work.

This just sealed it for me. I am totally in the mood for Christmas, Especially Alex’s song and the part about whether Jesus knew why he had come.

Thank you for sharing! Merry Christmas!

Both song are beautiful. We discovered signing time in the last six months from a carepage. It has opened my childs eyes to the world around him and he can start a conversation with us! It is wonderful and we are all so blessed to have you!

    Merry Christmas!

So the only thing that would have been better is if Rachel had signed while playing the guitar….ROFL just kidding! This was so beautiful that Anyka just woke up and asked “Mom why are you crying? It’s PARTY TIME!” Merry Chrstimas to all the Signing Time! Family and thanks for everything!

Love to read your blog. We’re HUGE Signing Time fans, and even met you one time when you were in Austin TX about 2.5 years ago.
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and what a sweet post. I almost teared up hearing Alex sing. So precious.

  19. Kathyon 25 Dec 2008 at 8:12 pm

“What Child is This” is my all- time favorite Christmas song. I was so excited to share my favorite song with my Deaf daughter. How disappointed we both were to have no one signing along with Rachel’s beautiful voice.

  20. Marci Welchon 25 Dec 2008 at 10:23 pm

Great videos! You are all so talented. Thanks for sharing and happy holidays!

  21. Michelleon 25 Dec 2008 at 11:09 pm

I loved the videos. I have never heard Alex’s song before but it was fantastic. On another note: I think my 21 month old daughter thinks that Rachel’s name IS Signing Time. We are excited to introduce Signing Time to the newest member of our family. Thanks for all you do and Merry Christmas!

  22. Vickieon 26 Dec 2008 at 12:01 pm

Alex, I loved your song! And Rachel, your selection is also one of my favorites–thanks so much for sharing your beautiful voices with your many fans. Hope your Christmas was Merry and that the New Year will be peaceful and prosperous for us all.

I just came across your blog tonight from a friend of mines blog. I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done. Your videos have helped me and my daughter learn ASL. I have found such a passion for ASL that I will be taking a course at the local college to learn more. You and your daughter have been such an inspiration to me. From the bottom of my heart….Thank You!

Holly: You are not the first to make that request ;)

Cheryl: I believe that was only the 2nd outreach event we had ever done. Glad you were there and glad you found me here!

Vickie: Give my best to your whole family

    You are welcome.

Kerri: Second request for this in the comments here. We have considered it. In the meantime there are some on-line ASL resources - search “Life Print ASL”

Thanks for blessing us with both of your voices with the Christmas songs. I want to thank you because my almost 2 year old granddaughter Ava is enjoying your videos. She knows over 100 signs and has a stong vocabulary. You have truly blessed my family. May God bless you 100 fold!!!!!
