- More Than What I Expected Review by Dianna in OH

Entertainment Value Price Educational Value Quality of Product This is really a neat one to teach signs for different things you find in your house. What impressed me most about this particular dvd was all of the finger spelling. A lot of the signs are finger spelled, and the children and I loved seeing little ones finger spelling the words so clearly. Another must have for the bookshelf!

- Having Fun in Our House! Review by Stacy

Entertainment Value Price Educational Value Quality of Product Based on some of the reviews for the Series 2, I was a little skeptical about purchasing them. But I wanted to learn more, and we loved Series 1 and BST. So I dived in and started buying Series 2.
I feel those reviews for Series 2 were a bit off base, but you can’t please everyone. This dvd was so much fun. In Series 1 “Time to Eat” you learn about manners and some kitchen stuff, mostly food….so it was nice to learn about the different rooms and objects in the kitchen, livingroom, bedroom etc. “My House” song is very catchy and a fun way to learn about all the different rooms of your house. Rachel started this new part “What Time is it?” and it is a nice change of pace with Story Time, Counting Time, ABC Time, Game Time and Move/Groove Time. Some of those are a bit repetitive, but again most kids need that. Another great buy!
The only critique that I have, if I could be so bold, is she doesn’t sign as many words as she did in the other series. Like when she sings a song, before in BST & Series 1 she would sign all through it and now I have noticed that she only signs the words that you learn in the dvd. I feel that is a bit backwards since the kids that are watching this are probably older and would get more out of it, learning more signs verses when they were babies. Since repetition is good, then at least sign the words previously learned from the first series.(Posted on 6/10/11)
- Very Helpful DVD Review by Mom of Four Kids

Educational Value Quality of Product Entertainment Value Price My youngest child is three years old and is developmentally delayed. He is still learning to speak. We use the Signing Time DVDs to help increase his vocabulary. The "My House" DVD is his favorite. He watches it almost daily and loves to make the signs for the different rooms and objects in our house, especially in the kitchen. Not only did he learn the signs, but now can say the words too. My older children all love watching and learning the signs as well. Signing Time movies are very educational and very entertaining!
