My 7 month old has been watching the Baby Signing time videos for the last two months. She calms down and will start laughing if I pull out the flash cards when she's starting to get bored if we're out. I'm pretty involved in volunteer work and I love having something different that I can share with her when we're away from home. She really likes "playing" with Mommy instead of another toy. She lights up and giggles whenever I use the signs we've learned so far. She hasn't tried them yet, but she certainly recognizes "potty", Mommy, Daddy, milk, eat, cat, fish and all done. I'm really glad she'll have something that will double as physical therapy following her surgery in a couple of weeks. It involves her shoulder and entire arm... so having a familiar thing to work on doing will be such a help! Her physical therapist said sign language is wonderful for her. Thank you so much! The more he watches this dvd, the more he likes it. It's a little fast moving for him, but the more he sees it, the better it is. He picked up on the "more" sign, but is having a hard time with the others. He also has CP on the right side of his body, due to a brain injury at birth, which limits his interaction, but overall I think the more I work with him, the better it will get. He is also non-verbal but hopefully theses dvd's will help. (Posted on 10/15/09)

I purchased this set about three months ago for my 2 year old son. He is a what we call a non-talker. We have had an interview with a speech therapist and when she asked about signing she was amazed at how many words he does know all thanks to Baby Signing Time. The videos are fun for him to watch, he loves to listen to the CDs, and the flash cards are amazing. He will sit on the floor and look through them on his own and do the signs as he sees them in the pictures.
I am thankful that this is available, no more stomping and screetching in frustration for my son, we can "talk" to one another now. (Posted on 5/7/09)

My daughter is almost 3, and because of a neralogical disorder is unable to talk. With baby sign she is able to tell me what she needs and wants. All I can say is thank you. She was getting to be such a sad little girl, because she couldn't communicate with us. Now she can, and she loves it. She watches her videos all the time and loves them. my 2 year old loves the dvd's and the music. not only were they a hit with her but my 5 year old loves them too. we took them on vacation and showed other family all loved the fun way the signs are shown and the music. I say get them for all ages not just little ones. (Posted on 2/6/09)
