Signing Time Series One DVD Collection

I was in a diffrent state for a visit, and I saw this on tv. My mother, my daughter who was under 1 at the time, and I all sat down 5 days a week to watch this. 3 generations just enthralled with this show! It was just amazing! My daughter and mother have learned soo much! I wish I could buy the library to teach her more but for now we are sticking to looking at the library every week to see if they have them

I have read stories about other children that are really great and thought that mine was not so great after all. But my Tai'lyn is great to me and I had to say "Thank You" to all of you at Signing Time. I started teaching her signs before I heard about ST, a friend told me about it when my little one was about 15 months old. She already knew enough signs to communicate with us, which was my goal, but she immediately loved ST!!! She is almost 2 yrs old and signs at least about 200 words!! My husband and I are amazed though that she identifies colors and letters!!! I do work with her but the fun she has watching and dancing with Rachel, Leah, Alex and Hopkins has done wonders. I tell everyone who comments on how smart she is that Signing Time is a great tool in not only communication skills, but also a basic education! My favorite comment was the one I got from my best friend, an ASL interpreter, and also the friend who told me about Signing Time. She said, " If you don't quit teaching her so much, she will never get into pre-school, she will be too smart!!" Ha!Ha! That's ok with me - I'm not sure I could let her go! Keep up the great work!!!! One more thing, I think that the new style, of one song for the whole show is great!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

An absolutely wonderful collection of FUN! My grandchildren love signing with Rachel and have even begun to make up their own new signs for things we haven't learned yet. They continually ask for more signs and keep us searching and signing everyday. Again, what FUN!

We purchased the entire library of signing time and baby signing time DVDs. Our daughter started to watch at 8 months, and could sign 70 words by her 1st birthday. She is now 17 months and can sign close to 400 words. I HIGHLY recommend these DVDs to all my mommy friends. It's a great way to spend quality time learning with your child. Thank you Rachel, Alex, Leah, and Hopkins!

A friend told me about Signing Time being on PBS on Sun morning which my daughter, at the time was 9mos old, started watching and used our Tevo to record all of them. A few months ago we changed cable companies and could no longer use our Tevo to watch Signing Time. All my daughter would say was Time, Time meaning she was wanting to watch them, she is now 22 mos old. I decided it was time to buy the entire set DVD's and CD's, she loves it. My husband can't get over how much she is signing when telling us things and loves singing all the songs in the car. Thank you so much for sharing these DVD's and songs with others, it is great. I feel she has learned so much with signing and everything else that comes along with these wonderful videos. Thanks again.

We received these videos when my son was born. My son is now 14 months old and can sign about 20 different signs. It saves him (and us) a lot of frustration. The workers at his daycare are learning these signs to communicate with the little ones.

We are now a signing time family! I even find myself humming the songs on my way to work.

I have been completely impressed with this set of DVD's...it was the best purchase I made for my son. We began teaching him sign at 9 months, and I know because he was able to communicate with us at such a young age, he threw less tantrums. His speech was a little delayed, and this set helped him to be able to still communicate with us... in fact he could recognize all of his colors and numbers before most of the kids his age! He now knows all the words on the DVD's, plus more! Thanks, Signing TIme!

I heard about Signing Time from a friend. She and her daughter are hearing impaired and the learning system is a tool she uses to assist in teaching her three year old.

She began lending the DVD's to me so that my two kids (ages one and three) who often play with her daughter could learn a few basic signs in order to communicate with her.

I watch all the DVD's with them and I was surprised at how quickly we picked up the language!! The music is amazing!! We sing the songs all the time, and the kids are teaching my husband what they learn every time we borrow a new DVD.

My kids are addicted to the DVD's (and to be honest, so am I!!!) and I've decided to buy the collection for our house.

My son turns two in a week and has an extraordinary vocabulary for his age. I am convinced that it is a direct result of the signing time DVD's and reccommend them to every mom that I know.

Who could give them a rating of less than five stars!!

Alex and Leah ..... If I only had a nickel for everytime their names are spoken in my home! They have become part of our day - everyday! I often hear my 2 year old humming the songs - They are that infectious! I purchased the series in December because we fell in love with the program on our PBS station. It has been so worth the investment! Emma Kate has already learned quite the vocab. Infact people stop me in the grocery store because they are curious when they see her signing up a storm in the produce section! My older children who are 9,8 and 7 enjoy watching as well and are often seen signing "May I be excused" at the dinner table. I LOVE what signing time has done for our family. Not only has it opened our eyes to a new world of communication but fueled my children's love for learning which has followed them to school!

We started watching Signing Time on PBS and checking out the DVD's at our local library. My 3 yr old Rachel :-) has picked up signing so quickly and it is a great tool for our 18 mo old Colin to express what he wants and needs while he is still learning to talk. I can't wait to get the DVD collection! My husband and I really enjoy the videos, too, and find ourselves humming the music and using the signs, even when the kids aren't around!
