- We Love Signing Time Review by Theresa Todd

Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Price My son enjoys these DVDs more than any other toy, game or DVDs I have purchased for him! He wants to watch at least one a day. I started purchasing the Signing Time DVDs from Amazon and when I saw how much my son enjoyed them I started ordering directly from this sight. He can't get enough of them. I recently had to order two of them again because I can't find the ones I previously purchased, and he keeps bringing the cases to me and gets upset when I tell him I can'f find them. They have helped my son's vocabulary immensely. Even his doctor is suprised at how well he communicates at 22 months. I also recommend them to everyone I meet who have young children. I gave one of my extra DVDs to a friend and she has started to purchase all of the DVDs. I enjoy watching them too!

- Mommy is NOT losing it Review by Nathan Long

Price Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Our three children, ages 5, 3 and 1, have been enjoying Signing Time on Public Television for the past few months. So we decided to purchase the whole set so they could watch it as they pleased. After watching the videos my 1 year old is signing more, food, milk and up. She loves the dvd set and she seems to be less frustrated when trying to get me to give her food or drink. Plus, my 5 year old and 3 year old can communicate when they need to be a little more quiet in the doctors office and resturants. It's nice to be able to sign them to stop and not have to get the embarrassing looks of " MOMMY is LOSING IT" from passers by. Thanks!

- Signs over 40 Words Review by Lisa Casey

Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Price My 15 month old daughter and I have been watching Baby Signing Time! and Signing Time! for only 2 months and have had amazing results. My daughter can only say Dada, Mama and Woof Woof, but she can sign over 40 words! She can tell me when she wants milk, her bear or her blanket. She loves to sign bird everytime she sees a bird outside. When I play the Signing Time! DVD's she runs to her chair and sits down and laughs and screams (with delight) when she see the opening song! She signs "signing" and points to the DVD player every morning so we can watch it together. I love learning the signs with her and the songs are amazing.
Thank you to Rachel, Leah & Alex for a WONDERFUL signing experience.(Posted on 8/3/06)
- SLP recommends ST Review by Carrie Luce

Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Price I am a speech-language pathologist and I use Signing Time as an early interventionist. I was amazed to see children with Autism, Downs Syndrom, and Speech and Language Delay's respond to an abstract format. The music and medium captures thier attention and the imitation begins. These video's are also a great for parents trying to learn sign, much like using children's books to learn another spoken language. Signing time gives you basic & functional signs and lets everyone in the family know the signs the child has been exposed to even if they could not make the therapy session. Making the signs functional for communication needs to happen through play, but this series is a great springboard for families.

- Great Program Review by Amy Howard

Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Price I enjoy Signing Time so much. I watch it on TV with my 22 month old every Saturday morning. I am very familiar with ASL because we teach it at the Daycare that I work at. The room that my daughter is in also teaches her signs and she is very responsive to learning. She uses her signs on a daily basis and she also speaks the words that she is signing. I am very proud of her and I am glad that I can understand her when she is signing and I can sign with her. Now I just have to teach her daddy and we can all practice using signs together. Thank you so much for such a great program. Keep up the good work. Amy Howard

- Amazing, Fun, Family Friendly Review by Diana Denson

Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Price My daughter will be two years old soon and I couldn't be more thrilled with the development we've seen since we started the Signing Time DVD's with her. We were referred by my mother-in-law who used the program with a child with a developmental disability she watches over the weekend. She was having so much fun with it herself that she bought us the first five DVD's for Kaydence, who was one at the time. Since then our little girl has learned so much! Every time she hears the music she dances around the living room singing "Sign Time! Sign Time" and signing along through the whole video. She has associated a lot of the signs with things we do everyday and it has helped her vocabulary as well. While I know it won't eliminate all of the terrible two's (she's quite stubborn and demanding) I know that it has already and will continue to help us bridge the communication gap greatly. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for these amazing, fun, and family friendly videos!

- Wonderful! Review by Helen Raymond

Quality of Product Price Educational Value Entertainment Value I am an elementary teacher and now a stay at home mom. I took some sign language in college and some of it stuck. These DVD's are so wonderful and I've seen lots of teaching products out there. My daughter is 15 months old and we have had the first 9 DVD's for the last year. She just surprises me with what she learns from them. She just signed monkey and says "I Do" right out of the blue. To all the people at signing time, I thank you form the bottom of my heart for such great products to help the youth of today. I recommend these DVD's to all my friends who have infants and toddlers at home. What a gift you have given to all of us. Even my husband is getting in on the act and is upstairs as I type these watching the ABC one with our daughter.
Thanks,

- 60 Year Old Watches Review by D'Anna Holmes

Quality of Product Price Educational Value Entertainment Value Our son was born three months premature and ended up being trached in order to breath without life support. He was later diagnosed with liver cancer, which put him even further behind developmentally. He is now two years old and signing time is his favorite thing to day. If I even mention it his eyes just light up. We tried to teach him a few signs without signing time and were very unsuccessful. Thanks to signing time he has picked up so many signs and WOWED all of this therapist and family members. Even my 60 year old loves to watch the dvds! SIGNING TIME ROCKS!!!!

- ST is a Ray of Light Review by Jenn Callum

Price Educational Value Entertainment Value Quality of Product Signing Time is such a ray of light! My 1 year old picks up signs readily from these easy to follow videos, and my 12 year old and I also find them very entertaining! None of us are hearing impaired, but we have a large deaf community where we live, and it is a valuable skill to learn. I took my little one to sign language classes at 10 months, and was so amazed when she was able to communicate younger than any other children! Milk, more, all done - such simple things, but so important. Hearing impaired or not, these videos are utterly fantastic. Bravo to Rachel and the rest of her family and friends for putting together such an amazing resource.
