I borrowed the first three volumes of signing time from my public library. My daughter was about 9 months old at the time and loved it. I had already taught her "more", and "milk" but once she saw the DVD's her vocabulary exploded. My mother, her grandmother bought the first six volumes with the cd's for the car, and WOW, she began signing and talking like crazy. Now she is two and speaks better than any two year old I know. I credit Signing Time with allowing her a way to express herself early on, and am now getting volumes 7 through 13 so that she can continue learning a second language. As a teacher, I have always used some simple signs with my kindergartner's, like "sit" and know that if all children learned ASL, everyone in the world could communicate! What a wonderful thing you are doing for the children of the world! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
