Signing Time Foundation

The Signing Time Foundation is dedicated to making sign language fun and accessible to all children.

We are committed to a vision of the world in which all children can express themselves and be understood.

Foundation projects include:

  • New Project SignIt ASL: Through our partnership  with with The National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM) and it will be delivered by each state’s Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) coordinator. SignIt ASL will be delivered at absolutely NO COST to families with newborns diagnosed with hearing loss within the U.S.A.
  • Operation Ghana: helping deaf children in Ghana attend school, improving teacher training, increasing deaf awareness
  • Down Syndrome Buddy Walks: providing concerts and Signing Time products for Down Syndrome Association fund raisers
  • Benefit Concerts with Rachel Coleman: for national and community-based non-profit organizations and public television stations
  • Professional Conference Presentations: including Autism Speaks, Council for Exceptional Children, Early Hearing Detection and Intervention

SignIt ASL Project Scope

  • SignIt Beginning ASL Class (5 Units with a total of 25 Lessons – now funding
  • SignIt Advanced ASL Class (5 Units with a total of 25 Lessons) – funding in 2017
  • Lesson Production Costs – $50,000 each
  • Total Production Costs – $2,500,000
