Welcome back! Are animals a part of your child’s everyday life? They are at my house. Our youngest daughter, Lucy, has a skilled companion dog named Willow, who is involved in just about everything we do!
In this lesson, you’ll learn ASL signs for pets and farm animals. Be sure to check out the Fun section of this lesson where you’ll find printable flash cards and games you can play at home.
If you like signing and want to learn more, contact your local Signing Time Academy Instructor and register for a class in your area. Happy signing!

When you sign key words, you transform your child from a passive listener to an active participant in reading. Learn more ways to engage your child in reading with Creative Book Sharing.

My four children absolutely ADORE Signing Time. My 4-year-old walks around asking me, “Mommy, what does THIS mean?!” and makes all sorts of animal signs.
I use it with my daycare children, too. The daycare parents are very impressed with how fast their children have picked up signing, and talk about how their children sing the engaging songs all day long at home.
I personally recommend Signing Time to everyone I talk to!
