Signs Your Kids Can Learn for July 4th

Tomorrow is the 4th of July! Even though our country is in a state of anxiety and unrest, we can still celebrate with our families. No matter how we feel about current events, we can be there for each other. We can enjoy our people, appreciate our blessings, and remember what is important. And from this day of celebrating freedom, maybe we can take a little inspiration with us to help us continue going forward. We want our kids to learn, listen, and grow no matter what is going on around them as they grow up. Enough heavy stuff, right? At Signing Time, we have so many signing resources for you! So as we head into this celebration of Independence Day, let’s look at some signs your kids can learn for July 4th.

There’s so much going on July 4th that could help our kids learn a new sign. We have parties and grilling and events and parades and fireworks. With all the possibilities of the day, there are definitely some signs your kids can learn for July 4th.

Feelings 

Lots of kids feel excited about the events of our Independence Day. So let’s start with the sign for excited.

Party signs

Whether you’re doing something with your own family at home or hosting a big event, there are signs you can learn to go along with your plans.

If you’re hosting, try learning the sign for invite with your kids. There’s also the sign for party and for the word together
