Rachel Coleman, Host of Popular Children’s TV Series Signing Time, to Perform at the 10th Annual Safe Kids Fair on January 12th
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – January 8, 2008 – Rachel Coleman, host of Signing Time!, will be the key performer on Saturday, January 12th at 3:00 p.m. during the 10th Annual Safe Kids Fair at the South Towne Expo Center, located at 9575 S. State Street.
Coleman, who co-created Signing Time as a means to teach children of all abilities how to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL), will sing, dance and sign on the main stage during this interactive performance that the whole family can enjoy.
Following the performance, Coleman will also meet and greet fans and sign autographs near the Signing Time booth.
The 10th Annual Zero Fatalities Safe Kids Fair is a two-day event dedicated to educating the public about keeping children safe through fun and educational displays and activities. On January 11-12th from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., activities will include a bike stunt team, a pedestrian safety rodeo, car seat safety checks, the Utah Highway Patrol “seat belt convincer,” the Unified Fire House, costumed characters, a playground and a fun area with physical challenges for kids. Special guests are on-hand to discuss various safety topics.
