Did you know that My Signing Time routinely adds new shows? We know you want quality, safe, commercial free programming that will help you and your children connect, learn, and grow. Our team curates content that we know will inspire and uplift your family. In September, we added new programing that will unleash the budding artist in your family, get you all moving, and increase your conversational ASL Skills.
This fall has many of us learning virtually. We know it can be challenging to provide motivating art and physical education activities at home. This month’s new releases focus on giving children of all abilities access to art, music, dance, rhythm, and communication skill building in a fun, friendly format. This month get your children drawing, dancing, rhyming, and signing with some of their favorite friends from My Signing Time.
Get creative with your children!
Exercise your creative muscles with this fun new program. Learn how to draw some of your favorite characters from our animated programs with an expert artist, Laurie White. Art Time at the TreeSchool is an easy to follow program and you can pause and watch again as needed. You will learn how to outline, sketch, smudge, shade, and color. These courses give your young artist the opportunity to explore drawing techniques and build fine motor skills.
Challenge your muscles, memory, and build coordination!
With many students spending so much more time on computers to access school work, getting up and moving is more important than ever. Enjoy our program designed to help get your little one moving and grooving with Hopkins the Frog! This high energy movement program is playful, fun, and challenging. Sing, shake, and hop with Hip Hop Hopkins! It is all about movement and fun! Many of our My Signing Time fans have shared that episodes of Hip, Hop, Hopkins serve as a great way to get focused before learning or as a fun brain break during long days.
Have fun with rhyme and American Sign Language!
Baby Joy Joy is a popular YouTube show that features nursery rhymes and songs. Exclusively for My Signing Time, Alexandria Wailes, noted deaf actress, signs in American Sign Language. In addition, written song lyrics appear on screen. Enjoy catchy music and adorable animation, making this a fun (and educational) experience for all! Newly released is the Baby Joy Joy Alphabet. Learn the letters, upper and lower case, along with the sounds of the letters. This series is not yet ASL interpreted because of COVID-19, our actors are not traveling to our studio. We hope to have ASL added as soon as we can.
Enhance your ASL skills!
You can now watch Sign It! ASL on your My Signing Time App. This program has been added with all of our Signing Time fans in mind. Sign It! ASL builds on your existing vocabulary skill, strengthens fingerspelling abilities, and ASL grammar. This program is lead by members of the Deaf community. Receptive conversational practice and multiple vocabulary models set this viewing experience a part. This is a great way to check out all that this curriculum has to offer.
