Several years ago my daughter discovered Signing Time when she was looking for a way to teach sign language to my grandson Cameron. Cam was about 2 years old then and he quickly learned not only to sign along with his spoken words, but to read and spell as well. Signing Time Academy Instructors are making a difference in their communities every day. They are teaching classes to adults and children, sponsoring outreach events featuring Rachel Coleman, and presenting at conferences to educate people about the benefits of using signs to help children of all ages and abilities communicate and connect with the people they love. Signing Time Academy gets new Area Director
The Signing Time Academy depends on a team of Area Directors to provide quality support to our amazing team of Instructors. We are pleased to welcome a new Area Director for the Upper Midwest Region (Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, and also the continent of Africa): Master Signing Time Instructor Abbey Cook from Illinois.
