Spelling Words at our House Our first experience with using the manual alphabet with spelling was when our oldest daughter was in second grade. Her teacher was fluent in ASL and he would use signs in the classroom to enrich his teaching. Each week he would have the students practice their spelling words by using the manual alphabet to decode each one (try it now). Then they would finger spell each word. Signing Time ASL App featured in Disney’s Family Fun Magazine

The Signing Time ASL App was named a “Family Favorite” in the September issue of Disney’s Family Fun magazine. Signing our way back to school! “We Are Going To Be Friends”

Level 1 ASL Students at Bingham High School in Utah made this fun back-to-school video that features the song “We are Going to be Friends” by the White Stripes. Watch it here.
