How long does it take to download a product?
It depends on the speed of your internet connection, but with a fast broadband connection, you can start watching in just minutes while the rest of the product downloads in the background.
What quality are the downloads?
The video and audio quality are every bit as good as a DVD, and in some cases, you will get better quality on the download.
Can I enjoy my digital purchases even if I'm not connected to the internet?
Yes! When you purchase a product, just make sure the entire product downloads. Then, you can take your laptop to a cabin in the woods, the beach or on an ocean voyage and watch any program you wish.
Can I access my digital purchases on a different computer than the one I purchased on? What if my hard drive crashes or I buy a new computer?
Unlike a disc, that might become scratched, warped, or lost, you will never lose access to a Signing Time On Demand purchase. Follow these steps to access your purchases:
- Download and install the free Signing Time On Demand Player app onto your second computer using one of the buttons below:
- Click the "options" button in the upper right hand corner and choose "Refresh owned products"
- Follow the prompts and enter in your email address and password
The products you have purchased will show up under "My Stuff" and you'll be able to download and view them at your convenience. Your purchases are safe in your "digital locker in the cloud!"
Can I watch my videos on my mobile devices, too?
Absolutely! For iPhones and iPads, the "MOD Mobile" app is available at iTunes for just $1.99. If you have a $99 Apple TV, you can also beam your video wirelessly to your TV via AirPlay! Please see the "Help Center" in the Signing Time On Demand software to find out more.
We do not have an app for Android and other non-Apple tablets at this time; however it is in development.
Can I watch my videos with Closed Captions?
Yes! To turn Closed Captioning on, go to the “options” menu (upper right) and choose the alternate player instead of the Quick Time player. When you open a video from “My Stuff,” you’ll see a blue button that says “Click here to turn on Closed Captions” just under the play button. Click on it, and you'll see the captions as your video plays.
Can I watch my digital purchases on my TV?
Absolutely. If you have a laptop (or a desktop computer near your TV), a DVI to HDMI cable is only about $15. Here is a wonderful guide on connecting your computer to your TV.
Or, if you have an iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and an Apple TV, with a tap of your finger, you can beam videos wirelessly to your big screen via AirPlay.
Can I move my song downloads to my MP3 player?
Yes, song downloads can be moved to any MP3 player or other mobile device.

How do I download my free video?
1. Click the download button for your platform to start downloading On Demand.
2. If the downloaded file did not unzip automatically, just double-click it to unzip it.
3. Just double-click the unzipped installer and follow the prompts to install Signing Time On Demand to your computer, which takes only a few seconds. The installer will launch Signing Time on Demand as soon as the installation is complete! The Signing Time on Demand icon looks like this:

5. At the top of the catalog is the free video, "Welcome to Signing Time." Choose a song or video and add it to your cart.

7. Fill out the required fields and choose an email address and password for your On Demand account. Then, click:
That's it! Your course will start downloading, and you'll be back to the main On Demand catalog screen.
