I Am Grateful

I am Grateful! by Alex from Signing Time Last January I went to the city of Accra in Ghana, Africa. I felt thankful for things I had never really thought about before. In Accra, there isn’t a good trash removal system. Instead, people put their garbage in a bag, set it on the street, and set fire to it. All the fires made the air smoky. We are Back!

We are back! Rachel made it safely and just in time to help deliver a baby! For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, you can follow Rachel’s weekend adventure on her blog. She just installed twitter, where she can write little tidbits of her day. The Willamette Valley Down Syndrome Buddy Walk in Salem, OR was a huge success. Rachel and I just got back from Oklahoma City where we had the opportunity to participate in the 13th annual Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma Buddy Walk.
